Cello Studies During Covid-19: Mar13 until the schools open
As this pandemic is hitting hard, I am expanding online resources for music making including video based music creation, and video music lessons. The plan is to have drop in video conferencing for any interested string student, lessons as well as group music classes multiple times per week.
I have a Zoom Channel and would like to set up classes and coaching for what are about to be trying times for Seattle Public School Students and their Parents. The teleconferencing is supported by Seattle Pacific University and will be held on those servers.
My plan is to make this free who those who want to come and take part and really affordable and do a "pay what you can" model so that no one is left out by not being in school for this month. The kids most in need are the ones without resources at home and I'm making this service "free to play”. The first cello conference class will take place Friday morning, March 13th at 9AM and go until 9:30-45. Individual videos will start dropping over the weekend.
Additional instrument clusters will be set up as interest dictates. Violin, Bass, and Viola hangouts await and I will administer that if there is interest.
